Groundhog's Day

For journals today, we wrote about groundhogs:

If I was a groundhog, I would be very smart and so I would hibernate and be fat. - Spencer

If I were a groundhog, I would live underground and my family. I would live with a beaver and a squirrel and I would see my own shadow when I pop up and see my own shadow. - Paige

Two 100’s Day activities went home yeserday

100’s Day Autograph Book – students are having fun collecting 100 signatures – feel free to sign for your pets and stuff animals ;-) They can bring their autograph book back to school to collect more signature if they’d like. This is just for fun – they can bring it back for their 100’s day celebration on Feb. 5th.
100’s Day Clue Bag – a paper bag went home today with a note that says, “Please have your child put 100 of the same object in the paper bag. Then help him/her write three clues about the object. Please return the bag and clues on 100th Day. Thanks for your help.” - this is due Wed., Feb. 3rd.

I just wanted to send this home so your child can get a head start if you’d like to start early – next week is just 100’s day activities and this is part of it! :-) Enjoy the fun!
