Tomorrow....

• Library books are due!
• Last call for last week HOWL sheets – we are drawing prizes in the morning for those that read 100 minutes or more!
• Please bring in your permission slip for the field trip next week on the 9th to the post office! So far I only have 4 slips back and only 1 driver volunteering so far....I also forgot (sorry!) to put on the bottom portion to include 44 cents so your child can buy a stamp. Lost your form? • Dress up as if you are 100 years old! (Ideas: draw wrinkles with eye liner, baby powder or silver hair spray, shawl, suspenders, glasses....be creative!)

Thursday....

• character book parade! Dress up like a book character and bring the book with you. Ex. Cat in the Hat costume and bring the Cat in the Hat book
  

Feb 12th - Friday....

• Valentine’s day party – bring valentine’s and your finished valentine’s day box to hold your valentine’s!
• If you’d like to bring a special treat for the class, please let me know – I’d like enough time to check for ingredients that may be an allergy to some of our students. Thanks!

Two 100’s Day activities went home yeserday

1. 100’s Day Autograph Book – students are having fun collecting 100 signatures – feel free to sign for your pets and stuff animals ;-) They can bring their autograph book back to school to collect more signature if they’d like. This is just for fun – they can bring it back for their 100’s day celebration on Feb. 5th.
2. 100’s Day Clue Bag – a paper bag went home today with a note that says, “Please have your child put 100 of the same object in the paper bag. Then help him/her write three clues about the object. Please return the bag and clues on 100th Day. Thanks for your help.” - this is due Wed., Feb. 3rd.
   

I just wanted to send this home so your child can get a head start if you’d like to start early – next week is just 100’s day activities and this is part of it! :-) Enjoy the fun!
